The fine print, in plain words
An AI credit is a bounded unit of compute, not one screenplay. A scene usually costs 1 credit, plus 1 per ~12,000 characters of story it has to read. You always see the estimate before anything runs; we reserve it, then return whatever wasn't used. Failed scenes are never charged. Retries don't charge twice.
Included minutes and credits reset each billing period and don't roll over. There's no unlimited generation, no recurring free AI, and no automatic overage charges — at your limit, you can upgrade or wait. Canceling keeps your paid allowance until the period ends. A failed payment only pauses new AI work.
Each talk session uses minutes from your balance, rounded up to the next whole minute (live transcript by your browser). Typing is always free. Planning budget: about $0.04 of AI cost per credit; real costs are measured, not assumed.
Deleting your account removes your projects after you've had the chance to export. AI processing happens on our servers through Lovable AI; we don't make zero-retention or no-training promises we can't verify.
